VISY OVEN DEMOLITION

AAH Contracting was commissioned to perform the following:

Encapsulation construction
Removal of asbestos to four firing ovens
Demolition of four firing ovens
Asbestos settled dust removal

Following the satisfactory removal of all friable asbestos from the ovens, AAH oversaw the controlled demolition of the ovens whilst allowing VISY to maintain a working environment with minimal disruption to their manufacturing operations.

NOBLE PARK

Working in a tight 20 days timeframe, AAH Contracting was commissioned to perform the following:

Demolition of internal building
Removal of thousands of square metres of asbestos contaminated dust
Rust treatment works
Extensive encapsulation to entire building
Application of over 10,000m2 of asbestos encapsulation primer and topcoat

Despite the extent of work which would usually take months to complete, the project was a huge success and we were able to deliver under the proposed deadline without any defect.

HOBART GPO

AAH Contracting was commissioned to perform the following:

Removal of friable asbestos insulation from roof spaces
Minor demolition of contaminated ceiling structures

Much to the satisfaction of the client and other trades, AAH Contracting was able to complete the project on schedule and ensure that the next phase of construction could be carried out efficiently.

CARLTON REFUGE

The removal of friable asbestos contaminated render to heritage listed buildings was conducted over a tight 3 month program, including;

Extensive encapsulation to all asbestos containing buildings on site
Removal of thousands of square metres of asbestos contaminated render under friable conditions
Removal of chemically contaminated asbestos soil

We were able to remove the asbestos without any damage to the heritage surfaces. The project was delivered without fault and completed well under the proposed completion date, to the satisfaction of our client.

Following a fire in a small supermarket located beneath a residential building in Melbourne, AAH Contracting was commissioned to perform the following:

Removal and disposal of asbestos contaminated items
Friable Insulation removal
Encapsulation works

AAH Contracting was able to complete the multi-staged project within proposed timeline while maintaining the delicate nature of cleaning and disposal works during normal working hours on a busy city street.

MONASH UNIVERSITY

AAH Contracting was commissioned by Monash University to undertake the strip out and removal of highly friable asbestos pipe lagging. Works include:

Extensive encapsulation works
Friable removal

The project was completed successfully whilst ensuring minimal downtime of associated services and working within a strict time frame.

RMIT MELBOURNE CAMPUS

AAH Contracting was commissioned by RMIT University to perform the following:

Industrial Cleaning & Access

Due to the nature and complexity of issues surrounding safety, an intricate scaffold system was utilised incorporating the installation of a Bosons Chair to allow safe access personnel. The project was completed successfully without compromise to safety and on schedule.

CARNGHAM FIRES

AAH Contracting was commissioned to clean up asbestos debris from bush fire affected dwellings. Works include:

Removal of asbestos debris and contaminated waste
Remediation of soils

FAIRHAVEN LIFE SAVING CLUB

After asbestos cement sheet was found in areas within the site, AAH Contracting was commissioned to undertake asbestos soil remediation.

The project was completed successfully under projected budget costs quoted by competitors, much to the satisfaction of the client.
