Minimal Disruption To Students & Staff
All projects we undertake can be tailored around when no classes are in session, with works able to be completed during weekends, nights, long weekends and school holiday periods. This ensures the least disruption possible to teachers and students during regular schooling hours. On staff we have a dedicated Removals and Reinstatement Project Manager – their role is to liaise with schools and subcontractors to discuss what and when works are scheduled to be completed.

What Types Of Asbestos Are You Removing At Education Facilities?
Asbestos can be found in a variety of areas within schools including classrooms, roofing, soil, switchboards, and in walls just to name a few. Asbestos material can either be friable or non-friable, which poses different safety risks depending on where the asbestos is found, and if the asbestos is held together or cracked/crumbling. We are Class A certified, which means we can handle all classifications of asbestos.
Will Asbestos In Soil Be Removed At Schools?
When asbestos is found in soil, this normally poses a low risk to students, teachers and nearby residents. However, this becomes dangerous if the harmful contaminants become airborne. In order to address this we conduct soil remediation using the following methods: encapsulation, site scrapes, manual picking and asbestos soil screening securing the safe removal and management of asbestos in soil.
How Are Local Residents Affected Throughout The Asbestos Removal Project?
Our team has a number of internal processes to help manage and work with local stakeholders to ensure their safety throughout the project. When removal works affect local residents, our Removals and Reinstatement Project Manager will work closely with both the schools and residents to ensure minimal disruptions where possible, and keep them up to date on the project’s progress.
