All projects we undertake can be tailored around when no classes are in session, with works able to be completed during weekends, nights, long weekends and school holiday periods. This ensures the least disruption possible to teachers and students during regular schooling hours.
On staff we have a dedicated Removals and Reinstatement Project Manager, their role is to liaise with schools and subcontractors to discuss what and when works are scheduled to be completed.

How Much Does it Cost to Remove Asbestos?

What Does Class A Asbestos Removal Mean?
A Class A licence is the highest level of asbestos removal licence, permitting the holder to remove friable asbestos as well as non-friable material. AAH has been a licensed Class A removalist since 1993.
What is Asbestos and Why is it Dangerous?
Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral fibre used widely in building materials until the late 1980s. When disturbed, it releases microscopic fibres that can cause serious lung disease decades after exposure, which is why removal is tightly regulated.
What is the Difference Between Non-Friable and Friable Asbestos?
Non-friable asbestos is bonded into a solid material like cement sheeting and is lower risk while intact. Friable asbestos can be crumbled by hand and releases fibres easily, so it requires a Class A licensed removalist and full containment.
Do I Need a Professional Asbestos Remover, or Can I Do it Myself?
In a school or any workplace, asbestos removal must be carried out by a licensed professional. Beyond the legal requirement, professional removal protects students, staff, and contractors from exposure and provides the clearance certification you need to reoccupy the space.
Can I Spot Asbestos Myself?
Not reliably. Asbestos-containing materials often look identical to safe ones, and the only way to confirm is laboratory testing. If you suspect a material, leave it undisturbed and arrange an inspection.
