Established in 1967, La Trobe University, Bundoora was the third University in Melbourne.
AAH has been engaged on numerous occasions to assist with refurbishment works to the campus, including in 2017 being engaged to complete asbestos removal projects to the onsite boiler’s. • Removal of asbestos contaminated switchboards
• Removal of lead paint from beams
• Removal of brick walls
• Removal of ductwork
• Removal of asbestos mastic
• Removal asbestos contaminated vinyl flooring
• Removal of asbestos contaminated pipes
• Removal of asbestos from fume cabinets
• Removal of asbestos mastic from windows
• Removal of asbestos adhesive
• Removal of asbestos containing textured paint
• Removal of millboard backed vinyl
• Removal of asbestos contaminated gaskets
• Removal of non-friable corridor openings
• Removal of concrete
• Demolition of boiler panels
• Floor grinding to various areas back to slab ready for reinstatement
• Assist occupational hygienist in sampling of potentially contaminated materials
• Standby and supervision for other contractors works
