AAH created a site-specific SWMS, Control Plan and WorkSafe notification, then set up decontamination facilities and negative air units ahead of removing friable materials from the ceiling void across the 1,200 m² floor. The scope also included removal of partition walls, floor coverings, grid ceilings and ceiling tiles, environmental cleaning of all ceiling voids, and installation of metal flashing to approximately 25 locations. Works were carried out during normal hours, with noisier works scheduled outside standard hours to reduce disruption to the operating building.

The project was completed successfully over 28 days, with the client and their hygienist consultant both commenting positively on AAH's work, leading to further engagements with AAH across the building. The result demonstrates AAH's ability to deliver complex ceiling void decontamination within an occupied commercial tower.
