Roof Encapsulation
Quality asbestos roof encapsulation from AAH Contracting
Tailored Asbestos Roof Encapsulation Services
Our team of Class A asbestos removal specialists can construct free standing encapsulation structures across a range of worksite environments, ensuring that asbestos can be treated, handled and removed safely. We have extensive knowledge and experience in working on large and complex projects that require encapsulation, and can deploy our team almost anywhere across Australia.
AAH Contracting uses its own approved asbestos encapsulation system. We offer a complete service from removal of existing asbestos settled dust to encapsulation application and everything in between.
Our Solution
We tailor our roof encapsulation process to each project we work on, as different sites will require either full or partial encapsulation for affected areas – such as large factory spaces, to multiple buildings. This is done in order to maintain a negative pressure environment, allowing for work to be carried out safely following best practices.
At the start of the project, we will also work with key stakeholders to identify asbestos affected areas that need to be removed entirely or treated with an asbestos sealant. These sealants are typically used when asbestos sheeting is in a good condition and does not require removal, or if moving the asbestos sheets is not possible.
What’s the benefits of encapsulating asbestos fibres?
In cases where asbestos removal is not required, encapsulation using approved sealants can help reduce the project time, avoiding costly downtime associated with replacing asbestos roofs. This can assist in achieving significant reductions in roof cavity temperatures, which result in savings in building cooling costs, as well as extending the life service of asbestos structures.
Both our primer and top coat solutions are waterborne, and are designed to penetrate and treat lichen and unstable asbestos binding them together, whilst using a lightfast protective coating that prevents algae growth.
What does a class A asbestos removal licence mean?
Class A licence holders are permitted to conduct both Class A and Class B asbestos removal. This includes the removal of non-friable asbestos, asbestos contaminated in dust from non-friable asbestos and friable asbestos.
