Cardinia Reservoir

AAH was contracted by Melbourne Water to complete internal remediation of two silos, beginning with lime removal to enable safe confined space entry. Custom scaffolding was installed and baffles removed for access, with surfaces treated using manual tooling and limestone abrasive blasting, guided by post-clean inspections. Works were carried out under strict permit systems, with AAH supplying all plant and confined space equipment.

The works were delivered to a high standard and within the required timeframe, completed in full compliance with confined space regulations and Melbourne Water's operational protocols. The silos were thoroughly cleaned and prepared to the required specification, with detailed waste tracking, QA documentation, and safety measures in place, demonstrating AAH's capability in confined space remediation for critical water infrastructure.
