AAH removed window mastic and approximately 25 linear metres of lagged pipe insulation across the two Carlton HV Tower buildings, using 45ft all-terrain scissor lifts to access upper levels, with wet decontamination methods used to remove ceilings and access concealed pipework. Works were staged and isolated in line with EnviroProtect's Div 6 asbestos assessment, with hygienist clearance obtained before each stage was handed back. A separate, ongoing program addressed bird excreta contamination across the site as directed by Delta Group.

AAH delivered more than 100 task orders across the combined asbestos removal and bird excreta programs at the Carlton site, demonstrating AAH's ability to run parallel, differently-scoped hazardous materials programs for the same client on the same site without disruption to either work stream.

Scope of Works

  • Removal of window mastic across both buildings (ground to level 4, via scissor lift)
  • Removal of lagged pipe insulation
  • Removal of asbestos-containing materials identified under EnviroProtect's Div 6 assessment
  • Separate program removing bird excreta from the site
