Services Delivered
AAH screened 12,000 m³ of wet, contaminated soil while managing tight deadlines and site challenges including boulders, congestion, and rain. The team increased screen size to boost efficiency and used aeration to dry stockpiles before processing. Hazardous zones were carefully managed, and crushed boulders were reused to build haul roads, improving ground stability and cutting imported fill needs.
The project achieved exceptional results: 88% of material was diverted from landfill, saving $2.2 million in disposal costs and $300,000 in import fill. The works were delivered on time with zero rework or safety incidents, ensuring civil works could commence without delay, demonstrating AAH's capability in high-volume soil remediation under challenging wet-weather conditions.
