Asbestos RemovalNon-Friable RemovalDisposal & Transport
AAH attended the Kokoda Barracks site to break and remove 240mm-diameter asbestos cement pipe at six locations, each pre-dug and exposed by the client ahead of AAH's arrival. Because the work fell outside the barracks' secure perimeter, no base passes or Defence access clearances were required for the crew, and waste was HEPA vacuumed, wet-wiped and cleared for disposal by ute to the nearest licensed facility.
AAH completed the pipe removal across all six locations on schedule, with the client managing isolations ahead of each excavation, demonstrating AAH's ability to mobilise efficiently for a Defence-adjacent civil works package without the lead time a full base access approval would otherwise require.
