Services Delivered
AAH crews attended each site under instruction from the head contractor's site personnel, removing asbestos cement pits and pipework, hand-picking asbestos cement sheet debris from topsoil, and collecting suspected asbestos samples for testing. Works were delivered across rotating 12-hour day and night shifts to fit within the Level Crossing Removal Project's tight possession windows, with the largest single site (TMF Melton / Melton LXRP) running to more than 45 task orders.
AAH has sustained delivery across at least eight Level Crossing Removal Project sites for three different head contractors since early 2024, demonstrating AAH's ability to mobilise quickly and repeatedly across one of Victoria's largest and highest-profile rail infrastructure programs.
