Services Delivered
AAH was engaged to make the heritage Newport Rail Workshops site asbestos free, removing positively identified asbestos across the site and reinstating roof sheets, wall sheets, trims, gutters, flashings and downpipes with safety mesh and heavy-duty sarking foil installed beneath new roof sheets. Site access alongside the building was difficult for EWPs due to cyclone fencing and soft ground; AAH worked with the client to remove part of the fencing and used timber and metal panels on top of the ground to overcome this.
AAH successfully cleared asbestos debris, including material within long grass and old waste stockpiles, and reinstated the site to a safe, functional standard, demonstrating AAH's ability to solve site-access challenges while delivering heritage-sensitive asbestos remediation.
