Swanbank Power Station

AAH set up a contained asbestos removal area at Swanbank Power Station and removed the identified moulded fibre cement pipe, with HEPA vacuum and wet wipe decontamination carried out on completion and clearance obtained from OccuRisk Consultants' on-site hygienist before the waste was disposed of.

AAH completed the works to the hygienist's clearance standard within the scheduled visit, giving AAH a foothold in asbestos remediation work at operational power generation infrastructure in Queensland, demonstrating its ability to respond to small, precisely-scoped hazardous materials removal at critical utility sites.
