Truganina Redevelopment

AAH Contracting took a proactive approach to remediate a complex site surrounded by dense residential surroundings, heightening sensitivity around hazardous materials handling. A dual-screen setup with stackers was deployed to separate materials, which were manually picked and progressively cleared in 100mm layers.

The results were exceptional: 78% of material was diverted from landfill, avoiding more than 300 truck movements, equivalent to 28 tonnes of CO2 emissions. The remediation program was completed 60 days early with zero rework or safety incidents, enabling earlier civil works.
