Services Delivered
AAH removed and replaced approximately 200 m² of non-friable asbestos super-six moulded roof sheeting, ridge capping, and guttering with new zincalume colorbond materials from the station building, along with dust and debris removal within the ceiling space, AC sheeting removal from toilet walls and ceilings, and replacement of asbestos cement sheet eaves. Track Force Protection Coordinators worked alongside the AAH team to manage rail corridor access and permits throughout the program.
The works were completed within the two-week program, with corroded guttering identified and replaced under an urgent variation arranged while on site. The client was very happy with the finished work, with the scope and contract value increasing from the original request as further deterioration was identified and addressed, demonstrating AAH's ability to identify and resolve additional risks within live rail corridor environments.
