Project Overview

Developed as an emergency and maternity care hospital in 1964, the Sandringham Hospital was designed to eliminate the need for residents to seek care in the city.
Over the years AAH has been engaged on numerous occasions to assist with refurbishments.

Scope of Works

  • Removal of asbestos contaminated soil

  • Removal and reinstatement of ceiling tiles
  • Floor grinding to various areas back to slab ready for reinstatement
  • Removal of cement sheet baffle walls above duct
  • Removal of asbestos woven blanket
  • Removal of SMG insulation from pipework
  • Sealing of exposed materials
  • Removal of Styrofoam insulation from ductwork
  • Removal of asbestos contaminated debris on ducting
  • Transport & disposal of all waste to EPA licensed facilities
